Parish Priest: Fr John Helm

Fr John was an altar server at St Thomas of Canterbury Church in Fulham. He was educated at the London Oratory, St Edmund's College Ware and the English College in Lisbon where he was ordained on 7th April 1962.He has served in many parishes including Our Lady of Willesden and then as a Royal Naval Chaplain on a number of ships including HMS Eagle and HMS Hemes. He was curate at Welwyn Garden City and St Gabriel's Highgate before being appointed as Parish Priest of Harefield. He became Parish Priest of St. Edward's in October 1984.

Anthony was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate by Cardinal Cormac Murphy- O'Connor on 10th June 2008. He serves as a volunteer Chaplain at the Royal Free Hospital and assists at Sunday Masses. He also assists with the RCIA Group and the Bible Study Group and is Chair of Churches Together in Golders Green
The Xaverian Fathers from Finchley, the Columban Missionaries from Hampstead and the Comboni Missionaries from Dawson Place celebrate several of the Sunday Masses.
